BIU Volunteers Helping Hullabaloo Entertain the Families at the 2010 San Tan School Carnival

wp-CIMG2584Members of the Burns It Up and Burns It Up Too musical theatre groups and their families had a blast helping the San Tan Elementary kids have a blast Friday night, April 9, 2010, during the school’s annual Spring Carnival. Jen Peters of Hullabaloo “hired” the company members and their families to supervise the inflatable bouncy houses and obstacle courses and in turn donated $500 to help with the purchase much needed sound equipment.

Burns-it-Up, a non-profit organization in Chandler, Arizona, performs regularly for local and national charity events and has been in great need of their own microphones and additional sound equipment. Hullabaloo’s generous donation will go far toward letting the kids’ voices be heard! “We’re hoping to have our new equipment in place by the May 21, 2010, show at Sun Lakes Country Club which will help St. Mary’s Food Bank” says director Karen Burns. “We have been honored to use our talents for so many worthy causes: breast cancer research, Save the Family, Books for a Better World, MDA, animal shelters, homeless shelters, juvenile diabetes, etc. The San Tan Elementary Spring Fling marks the first benefit for Burns-it-Up!”
